| Kings of Convenience – Me in You Lyrics | 12 years ago |
| Someone that is not ready to leave a person before they start a new relationship. They would rather transition into another relationship. | |
| Ramona Falls – Bveloed (Prophet bonus track) Lyrics | 13 years ago |
|
"And once inside You're kept at bay I pick and I choose gets through this membrane" Like a cell, allowing the right proteins in and keeping the wrong ones out. Science! I feel like the songs is a form of twisted love. Bveloed being an anagram of beloved. Then the metaphors of controlling someone or weakening them into submissive state. "I feel the bite And it's softening I've broken you down Not sayin' it's right" While the person knows it's wrong they still do it. They feel that it makes things work for them. Love can be crazy and so can people. |

| Ramona Falls – If I Equals U Lyrics | 13 years ago |
|
Sounds like a kid growing up trying to understand the world. Trying to figure it out they are constantly reinforced on how to see the world by adults. To end up repeating the process. This part sticks out. "You are too young" Sounds like the excuse an adult would use to tell a kid. Rather than giving them a formal reason to not do something. "I haven't lived a day in my life" indicates the reasoning or understanding that one has come to. That final moment when all is realized. "You told me to live this way but, that isn't always the way it always is." |

| Jets to Brazil – Wish List Lyrics | 13 years ago |
|
I am still listening to them as well as spreading them to people that haven't heard them. I think the lyrics are coming directly from him about the situation of his parents and his musical career. While he knowingly is capable of writing something more acceptable to them. He doesn't want to because it disagrees with him, but at the same time the other side disagrees. |

| Sundowner – One Hundred Resolutions Lyrics | 17 years ago |
| I feel like it's him trying to say that he is going to do all the things he promised he would do for a girl. The reason she left him but, all he can do is think about trying to be better the next year and know that she'll never come back to him no matter if he fixes the problems. | |
| Jawbreaker – Sleep Lyrics | 17 years ago |
| I think it has to deal with a break up. All you want to do is sleep to try and get over it. Then most of the time sleep just ends up being a cell where you constantly think about everything. Or is also could be that it's about wanting something or someone and you never try to go after it and it leaves you in a depressed state of mind. | |
| Jawbreaker – Shirt Lyrics | 17 years ago |
| Blake says in a live video. That this song is about the infatuation stage between two people. How beautiful it is and the fun you have, but it didn't last long. The lyrics are just him coming up with ways to explain how much he was into the girl at the time is my guess. | |
| Jawbreaker – Indictment Lyrics | 17 years ago |
| Blake sort had a problem with signing to the major label, but in the end they decided it would be easier. Cost them over a grand for Dear You. They were right about it being better to be independent, but sometimes you have to make tough choices. | |
| Jawbreaker – Gemini Lyrics | 17 years ago |
| You can tell that Blake is a Gemini from the lyrics he has written for most of the songs. | |
| Jawbreaker – Fireman Lyrics | 17 years ago |
| hmmmmmmmmm.... I know, I've felt this before. Sometimes I still do. I agree with it being about him dating a girl then losing her and trying to say or do anything to get her back. No matter what he does she won't come. Like in the end. "I'll play the part for hours, but I know you'll never come." He has the depression from not being with her and she doesn't even bother. | |
| Jawbreaker – Bad Scene, Everyone's Fault Lyrics | 17 years ago |
| The relevance is the scene at the party with the two people that broke up. Both sides seem to be at fault for hurting the other or pissing each other off. | |
| Jawbreaker – Sea Foam Green Lyrics | 17 years ago |
| I think this song hits hard. From what I can gather in my mind. It's about meeting someone that you would do anything for. Hence the traveling 10,000 miles. Then they pay no attention to you and it drives you insane all this work you are doing to prove yourself just to have the person turn away. | |
