Im almost disgusted at some of the comments here. there are things in life that are just too hard, sometimes things hurt so bad tears cannot be enough because nothing can be once you lose someone you love so much everything loses its meaning and you feel that tears cant express the turmoil you suffer. His son did not jump his son fell and his son died at four years old, it is Erics own personal buisness how he handled it, im sure to any parent the loss of a child is devastating. ANd the one good thing I must say came from it is this song, its beautiful, and the emotion in Erics voice is wonderful. If we really just listen, our whole world could change. |

I really like this song a lot. I like Justin Timberlakes part a lot too. I think it makes the song. Cant stop listening! I like the meaning too. Its basically T.I. reflecting on his life and realizing that he needs to grow up and be a man to survive. |

| I think this song is about anyone. Because it's universal. We all live this life, make our mistakes, and stay here hoping someone will miss us if we were gone. I think everyone at one point or another has wanted to do something in their life, so that even when they are dead, they can; in a way live on after they die either in the memories of others or the imprint they left on the world. Maybe i'm an optimist but I think this song is motivational. It doesnt have to be about a tragedy, just a person who has lived their life and is hoping to do something more before their time is up. | |

I thought this song was about two people who loved each other but for whatever reason parted and now one of them is remembering what their love was like. I want this song played at my funeral and reading how this song has touched everyone gave me goosebumps. I think the meaning is simple enough and is clearly laid out. They have lost someone they loved and all they want is just that one more day, but thats not true either because even if they got that one more day they would still never want to let them go. beautiful. :] |

I really hate it that just because a band is known as christian and has a few songs that are indeed about god that to everyone ALL their songs MUST be about god. I think this song is about two people who fell in love, everything is right with that person, they want to be a better person for them because when its just the two of them everything is perfect. They feel they found their other half they dont want to let go because its the best thing that could be happening. |

I think this song can either be interpreted as a break up song or as the loss of a loved one. "Just cant believe your gone, still waitin for mornin to come, when i see if the sun will Rise" It's like losing them, they lost everything. They feel everything should have stopped because with the loss of that person everything in their world seems wrong. "They can take tomorrow and the plans we made, they can take the music that we'll never play, all The broken dreams, take everything, just take it away, but they can never have yesterday." I think that line is beautiful. This song is bascially saying that without this person they lost their dreams they lost the plans they had, everything. But they will learn to live with the memories of yesterday and they dont regret knowing them because the memories they shared made the pain of losing them in the end worth it anyways. It really is a beautiful song. Leona has stunning vocals. She is my favorite female singer. :] |

| Hands down a beautiful song. I think it is about someone who is ready to show themselves the real them, not the mask they wear, not the person everyone else knows. But the REAL them. Because they love someone enough, and trust them enough to show them that. The person that loves them is "colorblind" and will not judge them once they see it. The person is "ready" to show themselves once and for all. It's a lovely song. One of my all time favorites the piano is stunning. | |

| I don't think that's what it means. I think this song is about loving someone unconditionally. Really just loving someone like hell. Loving them enough that you are nothing without them. Knowing that if they left or if they died you would have nothing left, because it would take away everything good in life. All of the happiness you hold is because of that person. It's a song about true love and not wanting to be without someone. Because imagining your life without them seems damn near impossible. Atleast that's what I got from it. :) | |
