I agree with Darkness Looms and Stormy[SMI] on this one. I know for a FACT that the lyrics for this song were taken directly from the book of Revelation. I had been listening to the song one day, and the next day when I went to church, Pastor wanted us to open up to Revelation chapter 3. I had gone too far trying to flip to it, and as I was turning back to the correct passage, the phrase ' MYSTERY, BABYLON THE GREAT, THE MOTHER OF HARLOTS AND OF THE ABOMINATIONS OF THE EARTH.' caught my eye, so I marked the page and went back to it later. While reading chapters 16-18 that night, I was just hit with, 'Wow, the lyrics for 'Beast and the Harlot' were taken directly from here!' And in case anyone was wondering, A7X's album 'Sounding the Seventh Trumpet'? Yeah, that name was taken from Revelation 11:15. Some of you should really think about what you only THINK you know about A7X. Their name? 'Avenged Sevenfold'? Yeah, that was taken from the bible, too.

Wow, I just think this song is absolutely AMAZING. It gives me an automatic rush of adrenaline just listening to it. I really just think it means that he wants to find a love that will completely blow him away and make his wildest dreams come true. |
