Paramore – Looking Up Lyrics 16 years ago
I think that the "double ending" is in itself symbolic. When the first ending hits, it's like "Oh, the songs over that was good" and you have a second to pause and think about the song. How they almost quit. That first ending IS the part when Paramore was about to call it quits. They took some time off, and then they came right back, stronger than ever, which would be represented by the second ending, where the song comes back in, and they have a nice little "hardcore" ending. The second ending is the "hardest" part of the song, which I think is symbolic of how they bounced back better than ever!

Paramore – 7 Years in the Making Lyrics 16 years ago
obviously it's about the band. The title "7 years in the making" refers to the band being...well...a band for 7 years now (it was mentioned in an interview I saw). I kinda think this song is about the band being started for a certain goal or achievement, but it's faded away...kinda like the mainstream life has taken over the band and it's true identity (i.e. being referred to as the "Twilight House Band" and "that mtv band".)...maybe. I don't know, all I know is what the title referred to.

Underoath – Too Bright to See, Too Loud to Hear Lyrics 17 years ago
"How the freedom we had turned us up as dead men"

Could someone explain this please? This is my favorite line in this song, but I can't think of what it means!
