Awesome song! I think it's about a relationship hitting a certain point where the singer realizes he is not the same person he used to be (when he entered the relationship). This affects his relationship to the point of it ending. He wants to make it work but isn't fully committed, perhaps because deep down he realizes it's just not meant to be and it just too much effort to keep it going. Its about boxing up and moving on... We've all been there :) Great song! Epic! That guitar at the end, kills it!!!! JEW is one of the best most-underrated bands of all time! World class. |

for me this song is about a guy who loves a girl but he never told her that and never made his move 4 her. then another guy is gonna marry her and now he's debating about whether to tell her the truth about how he feels?! the guy the girls gonna marry her has never told her that he loves her either! thats y he says 'And get to church cause you're a good girl and I never told you that' and then later on in the song instead of ''i' never told you that' he says ''he' (the guy she's gonna marry) never told you that' he's gonna 'send a little rain' on her wedding day cuz its good luck becuz he loves her and wants her to be happy even at his own expense well thats my interpretation anyway |
