i think the flies ("moscas") are thoughts, feelings, memories which are present and unreachable at the same time. They are like floating around, bothering her a little... making her think and remember past times. |

i think it is talking about the human race, because in fact, we are all "kids" who come from the same parents. it's talking about we (humankind) should not take it to the very extreme "Control yourself Take only what you need from it" NO vice and NO excess, and taking "time to think of consequences"... thats my opinion anyway |

it's talking about life. he has a somewhat existentialist view. He is trying to find his purpose in life. "I MUST believe there's more above us and below" like heaven and hell... and then "It keeps me here when all I wanna do is disappear". he MUST believe it, for if he doesn't... he would disappear. but then he adds "... there's nothing left to keep me here". he will leave this life, because his has not found a reason to live. and... i think the vicous child is humankind itself, like the big bad monster, "nature never wanted us" ?? ... thats my opinion |
