this song has a pretty obvious meaning, it's about leaving someone you love, and missing them so much. and it's not about portland oregon, it's portland, MAINE! portland, maine is on the coast of MAINE as it states in the song, i thought it was pretty obvious because i am from the east coast and go to portland, maine a lot, but i can see how a lot of people can get it confused with portland, oregon. i love ivory, i wish they'd get back together, i miss them :( |
