| Fay Ray – Modern Lovers Lyrics | 14 years ago |

I'm pretty certain that it is "Well, are you feeling better?" and not "We love you, feeling better," though it does sound better. And also, it's "I'm gonna smash my toys;" definitely not ties... that doesn't really make sense. |

| Nick Cave and the Bad Seeds – The Hammer Song Lyrics | 16 years ago |
| You're confusing it with The Good Son's "The Hammer Song." This is a cover of Alex Harvey's "The Hammer Song" in Kicking Against The Pricks. | |
| Trash Palace – The Metric System (featuring Brian Molko) Lyrics | 16 years ago |
| Well, they are trashy. That's certain. | |
| Nick Cave and the Bad Seeds – Disco 2000 (Pulp cover) Lyrics | 16 years ago |

| Grinderman – Love Bomb Lyrics | 16 years ago |
| I don't know how I forgot the "Love Bomb" part. Could be the revange of a frustrated messiah or the revange of his former believers. I haven't got that part yet. | |
| Grinderman – Love Bomb Lyrics | 16 years ago |

To me it sounds like someone doesn't love Jesus (thin, sick and despaired Jesus) back. Her disbelief appears to be manifested with her fingers that goes right through his body. He "almost disappears", maybe from feeling (additionally) meaningless. On this basic story lies a lot of love, belief and disapoinment related matters, that this song deals with. |

| The Smiths – Barbarism Begins at Home Lyrics | 16 years ago |
|
"A crack on the head is what you get for not asking and a crack on the head is what you get for asking" This is what unrational-violent people do. They don't really need a reason to give you "a crack on the head"; They'll do it anyway. |

| My Bloody Valentine – Nothing Much to Lose Lyrics | 16 years ago |
|
These are the last verses: Please you Oh, I know what to do A soft salt taste Do you see me as a fool Can I look, look, look Oh, the things you took Eyes asked why, why, why, too late I'll come down, down, down Oh, you don't know what you found Don't, don't walk, walk, walk away |

| Nick Cave and the Bad Seeds – Lay Me Low Lyrics | 16 years ago |
|
"If you wanna be my friend And you wanna repent And you want it all to end And you wanna know when Well do it now Do it now Take a long last bow Take my hand Make a stand And blow it all to hell" This is an invitation, beckoning to the next world: Kill yourself. |

| Sonic Youth – What A Waste Lyrics | 17 years ago |
| Actually, throughout the whole song there are facts that indicates of her failure. | |
| Sonic Youth – What A Waste Lyrics | 17 years ago |
|
Sounds to me like a girl with empty-meaningless life who has a lot of empty-meaningless sex. The girl is looking at the guy's chasteness as a waste, but the only waste is the girl. And I'm not saying that because I'm a prune or anything, It's because it seems like the girl in the song feels like having sex will give her some kind of thrill, meaning or some sort of power. Dull creation, Cheap legacy - Those are just unsuccessful things made in the search towards a meaningful-cool-creative life. This song is really about finding meaning; I think the paragraph is describing her failing at it. |
