| Ashlee Simpson – Little Miss Obsessive Lyrics | 17 years ago |

This song is most definitely about trying to get over a past relationship The chorus says " little bit possessive, little miss obsessive, can't get over it" Like she's possessive over 'him' and she still feels like he's her's even thought they broke up, and she's 'obsessing' over the break up because she unsure if it was the right thing to do, and 'can't get over it' obviously means she can't get over it then the lyrics go one to say "i never been a fan of long goodbye's I'm at the finishing line and you're just way too far behind" saying that she wishes she can get over the break up, but she is also 'finished' with the relationship and he's still far behind like he's dwelling on what happened later it says "in the morning, i got in the fight with myself i got the bruises to prove it" that makes me think that she is angry with herself because she doesn't want to go back to him but that she isn't sure if she shouldn't such as battling the devil and angel on either side of her shoulder trying to tell her what to do I've never been a fan of Ashlee Simpson but over all it's a really great song. |
