| The Classic Crime – Salt in the Snow Lyrics | 17 years ago |
| this song is definetely about God. its supposed to be a hopeful song. its about a person who has jus been in difficult situation, hence "winter's cold", but is looking forward to good times to come again, which is what is meant by winter's cold leading to summer's warmth. winter symbolizes the bad times in his life, and summer symbolizes the good, and he's hoping that the bad times will lead to the good times. the song is written for a person who is in that in-between time, when he feels like he's "melted and left on the side of the road, like salt in the snow," because salt melts snow, and he feels like the bad times are gone, but he's not in the good times yet. | |
