i think the meaning of this song is really really obvious. the writer/craig is feeling overwhelmed and not good enough to be "famous". he feel's like he's letting everyone down, and that they're saying "oh he's got it all because he's famous, he's just feeling sorry for himself, the emo." and his friends want the old him back. when he comes to join in on them having fun, his mood just sort of puts a damper on everything. and he's wondering how long his fans will be able to hang onto everything he says, onto every word he sings. and his fans love that he's in love with his huge ego and intention, they think he's something he's not, and they're all begging him for more big-headedness, etc. and all of the fans' heads are full of praise that doesn't mean anything to him, because they're praising him for things that he thinks aren't true. thats what i think. |
