This song very much so reminds me of a very beautiful but troubled person I briefly "dated" a year ago. He sang quite a lot, even by himself in public (hence,why he reminds me of the siren in this song). I also gathered that he had an intense fear of abandonment/loneliness considering the fact that he was nearly always in some kind of relationship, and wasn't happy without being in one. We decided to break up after a couple of months due to the latter reason. This is a decision which I have regretted ever since as I was and still am very much so in love with him, even though it goes unrequited to this day. Having constant dreams about him every night does not make things any better. |

I first heard the parody from the Simpsons. As a kid, that episode where Grandpa and Marge's mother tryed to get married was my favourite because I knew at the end that deep,beautiful would play at the end. |
