i love this song. and i think it means something along the lines of... a forced break-up. the guy is trying to get over the girl but it's not working. the girl may like him back but even if she did, the relationship is gone and won't work again. |

i totally agree with that meaning. but i think there's more to it... they probably love each other, but for them, something comes up that makes their relationship stale. he loves her so much that he realizes that he's not enough for her, and decides to let her go. we don't know things from the girl's perspective but from experience i can probably say that she loves him just as much, and she needs to take the chance of this stalemate to stop this persisting love. one look back and she'll regret doing it forever. yeah that probably didn't even make sense, but anyone got feedback on it? |
