actualy sorry lucie thats wrong.... pete shelly (singer of the buzzcocks) said in an interview that it was about falling in love with a black girl, obviously in this day its nothing outrageous but in the punk times that the song was written. when there were alot of nationalist skin heads this was considerd lowest of the low... which is why the song was such a massive hit.... fantastic song |
