Okay, I'm not UTD on the whole album meaning and stuff, so here's my interpretation of the song, based from what I see and other ppl's opinion. I agree with this song is about our generation and ones of the past. Here's a piece by piece breakdown of the meaning, to me:
"Where's your respect... hand that feeds you" This part is basically what the past generation is telling us, the whole 'We are your elders, we fed you from our palm (or baby spoon, whatever). You need to respect us always, why are you biting back?'
Then they continue to taunt us, with "It's not over yet... surely be missed", basically saying 'You really wanna keep doing this? Keep this up and we'll take off your jaw!'
Our response? "Not even salt can make your hands taste good. I'm still crunching your lifeline." or "Please, we wouldn't bite back; your hands (not literally) are disgusting! We are going straight for your heart, cuz you relentlessly attack our generation!"
"You do this... no guilt" is a continuation of our response. They keep up the attack, and they keep thinking we are lesser than them.
"Blood fills your palms" We finally get pissed enough to retaliate.

Not sure about that, but it's late and the best I could come up with. Constructive criticism would be appreciated.
