I do love this song. I love how they incorporate both Japanese and American celebrity names. My favorite line is "Close you eyes and you can see it Your name is on the cover of your book You are self-titled" It's a battle cry for originality; telling the world to look at themselves and be proud that they aren't M. Jordan or A. Einstein but are themselves and encourage them to write their own stories! |

| One of my favorite Ellegarden's. I don't speak a word of Japanese and I can feel the emotion in the song. I love this English translation. I think it's about a man whose love has left him and he went and bought her a ring that she had admired for awhile. He's holding onto that ring like he's holding onto her love because, without her, the world means nothing. Giving her the ring is like saying "I'll give you my heart all over again." Love it. | |

Well, my take on the Scarlet Letter reference is that she was running out to the garden in secret to have a, well, let's call it a "romantic rendezvous" with her Romeo. Because, from what I can remember from SL, Hester and Arthur met in the forest to have their affair. I never really thought about the whole epic love in the past that they were remembering until I watched the music video. |
