i think - in a very vampire weekend way - it's supposed to be staccato, bulletpoint list of things that morning, so its: then I see you, your walking across the campus cruel professor studying romances he sees the girl he likes, she's walking across campus she's off to see her cruel professor she's studying romances not that he's in love or had an affair with a professor. i also think it's the reading of "how am i suppossed..." that is he likes her and has to pretend not too. |
