I think this song was originally title: "Corine" The identity of one of his french muses. But it had to be changed to protect one of "innocent" ones. Try replacing cream with corine once...the song makes more sense as a love song to his muse rather than "himself"... Like most of his material, he usually takes the reality of things that are close to him (ie, his guitar, bandmates, muses) and creatively manipulates them into a work of art or fiction. True artist or bootlegger extreme??? |

| Apparently, a Minneapolis Star Tribune gossip columist named CJ has consistenly written and "secretly admired" him for years. In the mid 90's she was over zealous and must of hit a nerve, hence he wrote a song about to her. | |
