Wayne said, in a concert in 1995,"one day I was sitting in my bedroom at my house and I heard what I thought was an ambulance coming up the street. Like any curious person I ran to the window to look out and see what was going on. As I got there I discovered that it wasn't an ambulance at all. It was just a very clunky but loud ice cream truck coming up the street. And as I was looking out the window there was this bug crawling down the window there real slow and all this stuff came to my mind" lol awesome |

I've heard the three armed man reference a few times in my life...each time they were referring to God. Shannon is simply stating. He's thought his life over quite a bit and doesn't blame the man for jumping. "I can't tell you how many ways that I've sat, And viewed my life today, but I can tell you I don't think that I can find easier way So if I see you walking hand in hand in hand With a three armed man, you know I'll understand" I feel the same way. The people I know that have committed suicide...I don't blame them. Sure some may say its selfish, but if you look at it another way..its selfish to want them to stay alive and suffer even more. You would just have to be in their shoes......yesterday. (yesterday = past tense....nothing can be done now) |

I think this song is obviously about being in love with someone and knowing it will never, ever work. Its like scraping the last little bits up and knowing the rest of your life will be empty and unsatisfying. And when you're on your last leg and everything fucks up around you and theres no where to go and you run out of options. A vulnerable state of nothing. Its a scary place. Panic attacks, vomiting, insanity, anxiety, and nothingness. Tell you what..eat acid and watch Natural Born Killers. It will change everything including the way you view this song. When Mickey and Mallory are in the desert on shrooms and their car runs out of gas. Mallory starts questioning why they're even there in the first place..then the goat attacks Mickey cause it senses a demon. That song completely captured that whole scene and made it epic. |

| pretty self explanatory...I just can't believe nobody has commented on this song yet. This is one of the best songs off As Good As Dead. Which, by the way, is a kick ass cd. The 90s will never die. | |

the 2nd part I always thought it was about a guy, who ate too much acid, killed a bunch of people, blacked out, woke up in a field covered in blood, saw a car, saw some people the car belonged to, needed a ride so hes going to go kill them and get the keys, and possibly take their camera. allot of the times I was on acid, real acid, I would get emotions tangled up in colors. I would also blackout due to adrenaline overload and wake up outside with a headache...then the nervous waves of adrenaline would start coming back and would start tripping again before I fully understood what happened. thats just my take on it. If that is Maynard's landlord saying those things, which I doubt it is, then I would consider moving. lol |

correction on feelgood's and mcflyguy's lyrics.. "in a corridor, where you find yourself NOW blocked, by the doors you locked" not to be nitpicky but I got a live version and you can clearly hear the "now" |
