Not gonna go all the way through this post because it was written nearly 2 years ago and I doubt the poster would care, but for anyone else reading: The first mention of Christianity is a metaphor, Herubeorn seems to have misread this, It's wordplay derp. Secondly, for Vinnies verse, his views on spirituality, NOI, 5%er, Islam and Christianity/Catholicism have been made clear many times, you can search youtube and view a whole seminar on how Vinnie relates his spirituality through hip-hop and vice versa. Remember if you don't understand something, don't attack it, read up maybe you'll learn something kids, people are too quick to jump on hating. |

Well a bit late but maybe it will help someone else. As far as I can make out Martin says: At times I forget where I am Sometimes its like I forget who I am Sometimes its like another part of me takes over. Sometimes I Cant sleep at night for the voices in my head. I don't know if its my own mind or if I just cant help myself or I just don't know what to do. The very last 3 words, I can't make out at all, if anyone else can help. ALso some more background information. Martin was the original drummer for Amebix, He was diagnosed as schizophrenic and forced into a mental home by his parents and put on Largactyl, a very strong drug. What he says in the song is how he felt once he had gotten out, according to Rob Miller there was never anything really wrong in the first place, Largactyl made him much much worse. |
