I personally thought the song was about feeling down and returning to God. 'Empty house far away Lost in lonely space You know you've felt the same From the shallows in love To the depths of your scars You know you want to change' I took this as someone lost in their own thoughts 'Lost in lonley space' the idea that people go through that there the only one feeling this way. 'From the shallows in love To the depths of your scars' I thought this was just telling the source of pain our relationships with people and our pasts and scars that we hold and knowing inside we want to change.
