I forgot to mention earlier but I do agree that Appeal to Reason has significantly changed styles from earlier albums but that doesn't mean that its a sell out or a bad album. In my opinion the lyrics are still as deep and though provoking as before however the style of music on about half the album has become more mainstream. All together I think it is a good album, even though isn't my favorite. For the record my favorite Rise Against songs are Blood to Bleed, Heaven Knows, Everchanging, Survive and Tip the Scales so I do know all of their music not just the new stuff. |

The bridge says: "A destination, a fading smile, another station, another mile. Another day gone, I swore I will be there before dawn, so be there I will. As a whole I think this song is about a girl who has lost a loved one, and the process of moving on. In the begining she is completely under the effects of her loss but by the end she has gotten closure and can move on past her loss. |
