This song is pretty straightforward with political, global warming, and serious issues in general (diamonds, Argentine schoolgirl). Probably his best written song (which is saying something) lyrical wise and as a song really gets you thinking and motivated to do something with your life and the world. |

Guernica like the one person said is a painting by Picasso, the painting is about the Spanish Civil War and most people believe Picasso's feeling of war and "self destruction." Or in other words, the same thing the boy/man does in this song to himself, perfect title for a song IMO. |
