i think the lyrics in this one are kinda self explainatory, but here's what i got: these two people kiss and they dont want people to know, maybe cause one or both of them is/are already in relationship (most likely this one) or just cuz they dont want people to find out. the "loose lips sink ships" part is saying they kissed and the relationship one of them had with another person is gonna fall apart because of it. they're trying to forget about it and not mention it (nobody's asking so leave it alone) the "im only breathing" part could be them kinda getting paranoid, thinking people know their secret so theyre spazzin out. the "discipline" part would be them showing the discipline to keep their mouths shut. i agree with somethingclever on the cherry tree part of it, but i cant really figure out a meaning to the line "your sharp alright". i dont think it matters, the rest of the lyrics tell the story, plus i just love the way matt says that line. wow im done. |
