I wish more people would cover Conor -this would be wonderful with a full orchestra and a technically better vocalist. The guy should start shoppin' em around, I mean, Snow Patrol sure aint gonna cut it. |

One of the greatest songs by a guy who has written more than his own fair share... it appears to be an extended metaphor for long ago love wrapped around the 1969 Moon Walk. But im not sure why: do you heighten loves complexion through an implicit comparison to one of the States greatest moments? Or does it fade as even that great historic moment has as you drive by Cape Canavaral? In the past, as it pasts away in time, is love infinte and still just black and white video?
Incidentally, this entire album is awe inspiring: the mewling wreck of "Saturday As Usual" is the real tiny diamond in our memories now... |
