I agree slapshot, every time I read interpretations of a Foo Fighters song, someone has to mention Kurt Cobain. While some of the songs may be about Kurt (Friend of a Friend, for instance), Dave Grohl has displayed he knows how to write songs about other topics. And while Dave swears like a sailor in concert, Foo Fighters songs don't often feature heavy profanity ("shit" if any). |

I actually disagree with the "You better fuckin love her" While I think it's a more powerful interpretation of the song (and stronger lyric), the lyrics as seen in the CD booklet read "You better start to love her." I've also noticed that you do hear "fuckin" in the song until prompted. |
