Katy Perry – Ur So Gay Lyrics 17 years ago
Out of all these comments, the only thing that I have acquired is the fact that people need to take the sticks out of their asses. Calm down people. This is the reason why everyone suffers from insane amounts of stress - you worry over the little things that in all honesty do not even matter.

Lita Ford – Close My Eyes Forever Lyrics 17 years ago
I think this song is about a girl and a guy who have a relationship together - sorta. The guy knows the girl didn't grow up a good life, as her only idea of what a relationship is happened to come from bad, cheating parents..or whatever..and so when she cheats on him, he doesn't know what to do..

Anyway, so the guy knows that he loves her and wants to be with her, but she is struggling with her feelings. At one point they had a wonderful relationship, and she knew she loved him. Now, though, she is unsure. She knows that he would be good for her, her would protect her and everything, but she feels he is also smuggling her - and this hurts her too, because she cares for him and doesn’t want to hurt him.

She wishes she could figure out whether she loves him, and he knows that even when she does, he might not feel the same, because she did, after all, cheat on him.

The chorus, or “Close my eyes,” is about them both wishing to go back to the past, when things were simpler…

Of course, I could be wrong, but that’s what I got out of it. ^_^

Ozzy Osbourne – No More Tears Lyrics 17 years ago
I know this song is about a murderer, possibly Jack the Ripper, but I’ve always believed it was about a rapist who accidentally kills his victim.

The beginning of the song is when the girl enters the house, and he - the rapist - slowly, quietly follows her to her room. He closes the door behind her, making her notice his presence, and she realizes she knows this man. He’s some guy she sees all the time, thus the line “Your momma told you that your not supposed to talk to strangers.” The part after that is her actually seeing him, in her mirror, with a malicious glint in his eye.

The second verse is actually about him. He’d been watching this girl for a while, obsessing over her, fantasizing for her, and finally decides that he must have her. The man on the corner is just some random guy he sees as he enters the girl’s house, and he hopes that he’s not noticed for then he’d be in trouble. As he follows her up the room and she finally sees him, he awaits her scream because they all scream…

The last verse is about the after effects of the attack. He has accidentally killed the girl who he had obsessed over. He had loved her and only wished she would love him in return. After he kills her, though, he realizes that she would never love him, and so he just leaves her there. He feels guilty about his deed but knows there is nothing he could do…so he just leaves.

The bridge, as someone said for the Jack the Ripper meaning, is all about the attack, and then his feelings of guilt. He then finds that there is nothing he can do about it…

I think the words that the radio guy is saying are about our world, about how no matter how time goes on, there is always violence. Our world is made up of violence. However, even though those “bad” people out there are around, in the end even they are caught by death, either from the hands of another or because of their own pitiful, wretched selves: they are either killed by another “bad“ guy, they kill themselves, or they are caught by the authorities and killed by the law. Either way, I think it’s trying to make up for the girl’s death, by giving her some retribution or whatnot.

The ‘No More Tears’ part is basically him asking her to stop crying because he loves her, and she should love him in return…I guess…Haha, I don’t know.

Anyway, I realize that the Jack the Ripper meaning is probably correct, as Ozzy said it was about a murderer, but I like my meaning better. It makes more sense to me.
