| Building on what's been said thus far, the song gets rid of the isolation that one feels when they end up just becoming a wallflower. Probably because it makes them feel less alone in that somebody else has felt alone, ignored, and uncomfortable before. I disagree If you listen carefully to the solo version of the later I believe it says "I had plans for both of us" I think the song is about one person, the first where he wishes he could be with them and the second when all hope of that wish being fulfilled has been annhialated. |
