Saying "temptation come my way" to me is similiar to saying "test me please!" or "put me to the test". This is because IMO temptation can be a test to whether or not we will be resistant or give in to it.

In this song the disease referred to that is desired to break free from is probably sin. For me though, It has another meaning and it has to do with my illness that I personally have and how I want to get cured or overcome it. But I can't so I am doing my best to fight it and working towards keeping it under control and maintained.

I can relate to this song. Not on every word in the lyrics, but the part "Break me down, Replace this fear inside, Take this nothingness from me, I want to find, I want to shine, I want to rise" really impacts me. It impacts me because I constantly have fear I want to lose and I wanna rise up high above it and conquer and win in life completely at my fullest potential. This song sounds good also.

IMO this song makes me feel that I am in need of God and knowing that He gave His Holy Spirit to me. I doubt to whether I'm saved a lot, and asking God to breathe His Life into you sorta is like Him giving you His Spirit. I want to fully believe i have God's Spirit inside me but I don't know for sure. I have never felt God or His presence. And I have heard of some people that have felt God and His presence which makes me wonder if I truly know God.

I feel that the composer of this song is asking temptation to come towards him because like TracerAdvanced said, it's always gonna be there in this life. But what I disagree with is to flee from temptation. Instead of fleeing from it, I believe you should make the right choice and conquer it. James 4:7 says "Submit yourselves, then, to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you." so it is important to submit yourself to God first, then resist the devil and he will flee from you. Idk I may be wrong on this but I hope it is right. I don't think that you should run away from every situation but stand strong and defeat the temptation that comes your way. Romans 8:37 "No, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him who loved us."
