Sorry but what does suddle mean? If you mean subtle (I'm not trying to be rude just wondering) I don't think it was. *The preacher lost his son He's known by all in town He found him with another son of God* That's seem blunt to me. In a good way of course, but definetly not subtle. Sorry if you mean something else. |

Love the song, But laughed at most of the comments. If you are american and you think this song is probably not about Bush because she's british, You are pretty in the dark. If you are british and think that it couldn't be about Bush because she's british, It's pretty evident you have never picked up a news paper or watched the news in you're life. (That goes for anyone else in the commenwealth, Hell, the world.) |

LOL. You're an idiot. First off; Tony blair isn't your prime minister anymore. I'm Australian and I know that. jesus. Anyway I never thought this song was about dubya (Just that small minded sterotype which gwb certainly fits into) I find it hard to believe lily allen would right a song about tony blair (Or Gordon Brown if you're going to get all I past grade 6 on me) I think it would be more likely someone in the spotlight would right a song about george bush. Why would she complain about blair and not bush? Don't give me the whole she's english thing because I obviously know that.. Bus as bad as howard was, we all hated bush more. It has nothing to do with america wanting attention or the mindless drones giving it too them.. You can't talk about political issues and skip america. as much as we all hate to admit it, whatever america does affects all of us (Well the majority. You and I considering you are from britain and I australia.) Just look at the ressecion. |

I think thats the point. It's a fun song about seizing the moment.. if it tried to be artistic or mysterious or complex for no reason it would probably defeat the purpose ;D |

i know im probably wrong, especially now that ive seen the beetles refrences and stuff.. but i always thought it was about a person who writes songs about love that they have never felt.. pain they have never experienced.. like you can write but its pure fiction (you dont have no uncle albert etc..) i always thought it was about a pop/rock star who's fame is more than they deserve |

| Regina Spektor – Prisoners Lyrics | 17 years ago |

I think it's pretty obvious what its about.. prisoners -_- not about sexuality, about a prisoner. duh. i highly doubt she would be sitting there writing a song about the sexuality of a prisoner and think.. hmm, whats the first thing that pops into my head when i think of sexuality? hans christian anderson. -_- |

| Bowling for Soup – Lil' Red Riding Hood Lyrics | 17 years ago |
|
I don't know why you say things like 'i don't really like taking it down to this level' like we're all a bunch of idiots when you are obviously wrong. Really think bowling for soup writes songs about rape? It's just about a bad guy who has fallen for the good girl. She doesn't know that he's 'bad' yet and he's afraid if she finds out what he is really like she wont talk to him or will be frightened of him. He feels though he's been bad in the past he can change for her...although there is certainly a mentality of old dogs can't learn new tricks through out the song |
