I hope this doesn't post twice... Okay, when I heard this song, I was just like"...omg." lol. It's so incredibly easy to relate to. I don't think she's being cocky, she's wrong, and she knows she's wrong but she feels like she wants to do something about it. I mean, that's what I got from the "I'll get what's mine" part (prolly wrong though) I think she feels like they both feel something, and she thinks the other girl isn't good for him or if he likes her too, maybe he'll choose her over him so she won't give up and keep hanging out with him. She's not throwing herself at him, just being friends. I think she knew right away that she loved him and then found out he had a girlfriend, it doesn't say the same day or when she finds out, so I don't think she's bad. Okay, basically, I think she liked him from the start but then found out he had a girlfriend and had to deal with it but still wants to be with him even if they're just friends. I think the magic was the chemistry or w/e they have/had and when the girlfriend was there, it had to stop. And just wondering, how come guys aren't criticized when they do this to girls with boyfriends? (Wow, I ramble) Oh, another good song: "I don't think so" by priscilla ahn =] |

anyway, I think she's singing about trying to see if she still has feelings for an ex but maybe he wasn't that good for her and she thinks she shouldn't be there again or even thinking about it again or maybe she's trying to find out about a new guy and is wondering if he really is good for her too |

I thought it was: "I opened the door to your head Tried going quietly But the door slammed instead I yelled, "Why'd I even come here?!" and I'm pretty sure she sings, "you're not very organized, or are you?" and I think it makes more sense as: "with a note from my head" because it's like she's asking her heart what it thinks not her head or something sorry, don't mean to come off being all 'that's wrong' that's just what I thought I heard |

actually, when I heard this, I thought "insane and high" was describing the mother and that her behavior is another thing in your life that brings you down and then eventually on the better daughter part, it's you pulling together for your mother, who also needs to get better I'm probably so wrong, but that's what I thought when I first heard it This song has such an incredible impact, you can relate so well and if not, you can understand so well I pictured everything in my head the first time I heard it line for line it's amazing and uplifting even though it's not completely positive it's like "yeah it really sucks and it's all crap but you'll make it' ...but so much better or course rilo kiley |
