I always used to think it started: "I am the deviant cause tragedy thrills me". Would have made sense because society views him as deviant for being thrilled by tragedy but yet most people are but will not admit it. |

I am also a big fan of Metallica, way more so than Lynyrd Skynyrd, but I agree that although Metallica's version is very good, this is the better one. Great song. |

Not a huge fan of the song.. it's pretty good but I like other TOAD songs better, I was disappointed when all the stations stopped playing Bad Girlfriend because of this song. |

And yes Ikz, I think this song is about you. Why don't you just go not listen to them if you hate them so much. Not everyone likes the same music, or has the same political views for that matter. It does not mean yours are automatically right. |

I especially like the part where he talks about the people that do not support the American troops or military:
So, how does it feel to know that someone’s kid in the heart of America has blood on their hands fighting to defend your rights so you can maintain the lifestyle that insults his family’s existence
I have several family members in the military and some of them don't support Bush but that doesn't mean they don't do their job as members of the military. People can have whatever opinion they want of Bush but it is ridiculous when people don't agree with Bush or the Iraq war, and insult and look down on the members of our military and their families. It is not up to them which wars we fight. They are doing their jobs and defending our country. It is up to Bush exactly what they do and where but they have no control over it and to insult the people that defend our country is ridiculous and extremely unpatriotic. I will support our troops whether or not I agree with the President. |

Yeah I listened to this part several times and I am not 100% but probably about 99% sure they say 60.6 Billion in the song. That would make a lot more sense since 60.6 Million would just be ridiculous. |
