Just two minor fixes - "the devil got me with the rock and roll" and "a twister tied to nothing" |

Some minor corrections: You like to sing the blues, I like to feel it You listen to the news but it’s too real for me I try to close my eyes, but my heart is racing Chasing me to places I don’t wanna go I try to slow down, think about the situation You’re too young to have a heart attack, a heart attack I know your lungs feel heavy for the air they’re breathing But they can do it, come on, look back, look back They haven’t failed you in 24 years now They haven’t failed you ever before They’ll stretch as wide as you will allow So come on, breath deep, head to the floor and CHORUS: Don’t be so serious Don’t panic They like you just fine Don’t panic I know it feels real But it’s all in your mind So come on, tell yourself Don’t panic, panic, panic… They tried to give me tiny pills in tiny bottles But I said, “No thanks, I can do it on my own” My mother told me, “Don’t take sweets from strangers” But I think the rule applies to chemicals I wanna be free like the monks in the monastery I wanna be cool like the kids on TV I wanna feel like the story in the book I’m reading Doesn’t have a thing at all to do with me Doesn’t have a thing at all to do with me CHORUS Don’t be so serious Don’t be so serious CHORUS |

Good thoughts. That rapture part's a big thing for me - it drives me nuts when people believe in and hope for the rapture as a comfort (usually because they just don't like the world as it is). This song is also more specifically about the Westboro Baptist Church protestors led by Fred Phelps out of Westboro, Kansas. |

oops, sorry, messed up the first couple lines of that. i meant to type: Nitpicking, but the correct way to write the song title is "(whoa oh oh oh oh)" (with the parentheses and the lower case letters). Here are the lyrics: Where are you today? I know it's not too late To make it, so just fake it for me And anyone who says I should just give it a rest Can shove it 'cause I'm above it Or at least I'd like to believe That it's all in my head Yeah it's all in my head (whoa oh oh oh oh) Where was I today? Well I was worrying away Inhibition on a mission Through my head And I could take the other side Of that roller coaster ride Like I don't need you But I know I need you So instead I just went Back to bed In hopes that it's all in my head Yeah it's all in my head (whoa oh oh oh oh) And if I get to feeling like I'm not coming home You can sing me a song And if I get to feeling like I'm doing this alone You can sing me a song And if I get to healing but I can't do it on my own Would you sing me a song And if you get to healing but can't do it on your own I will sing you a song Where are we today? It turns out everything's OK It's just the first time I've had nothing to say So I've talked myself down And I won't mistake the ground For a fall-through Where are we today? Turns out everything's OK It's just the first time I've had nothing to say So I've talked myself down And I won't mistake the ground For a fall-through 'Cause I love you Yeah, I love you |
