i think i might have a clue as to what this song means? i was listening to it today, and i was wondering why there was a woman talking, and it all clicked in. I was thinking maybe, he and a woman were in a relationship, and got her pregnant, "dont know yet if im glad i came" dont know if thats just my dirty mind? and then through the song she cuts in and says "I always hoped that it would happen but I never though it really would" he gets scared, leaves town for a while to think, then comes back to her. When he coems back, he realizes he has to change, quits smoking, changes his ways, and is glad she's pregnant. maybe this song ISNT about him in particular. maybe my theory isnt even close to being correct ahaha. |
