I do like that it tackle a few deep subjects (depending on interpretation), but I'm still a little uneasy with how it seems to glorify the subject matter.
Musically, this is definitely a bigger and better song than her others. |

The album definitely gave her back some dignity (no pun intended). This is actually one nice song she's sung; goes with her voice. |

Isn't it creepy that the song's tune sounds more, if not too, happy-go-lucky, like nothing's wrong? |

I agree with Igamell's take on the line 'and the bible didn't mention us' meaning that the book never referred to them as an actual couple in love. 'Us' being their relationship. getnakeynakey's pov on the cancer side is interesting too.
Then again, the beauty of this song is that there are many interpretations to it. :) |

At least this song is definitely better than her first. It's nice to listen to and easy on the ears, even with the 70+ 'love's |

I remember singing along to the part where she goes 'sticky and sweet'; later realizing ..ew. |

| MGMT – Pieces of What Lyrics

'yellow birdd' got the basic point of most, if not all, MGMT songs. Emotion you can't pinpoint exaclty, it either up to you to understand yourself or find out more about what they could be talking about..
which is pretty much what 'kathlee00' said. XD
Still, I hope MGMT don't become mainstream! It's their indie (songs too) we loved, not their popularity! |

Who else thinks this song would make a great listen to while 'doing it'? Emilie's voice here, the pure essence of the French language. |

I love how Alanis writes the lyrics to this song; they're all long, yet they work together so well. IMO, she's definitely one of the best song writers. |

| Britney Spears – Do Somethin' Lyrics

Obviously, all the haters came from the 2003/ish - 2006/ish timeline. Apparently, that was the period pop died before it got mized up with other genres (which made it sound so much better now)
IMO, this is definitely a catchy song, I just don't like it when Brit says 'grill', *shudder* |

Britney uncovers and reveals someone for who he really is!
I think this is definitely a comeback! The entire song is catchy and the beat is ace! |
