Wow, just wow. To me, this song is about unappreciated love. Tallulah doesn't want to listen to what the narrator has to say, she dates someone else, despite the chances he gives to her. And even there, he hopes she will once love him as much as he yearns for her. I always imagine someone playing this song on the piano on a small stage, in complete darkness. A silent crowd, with in the middle the girl he is trying to reach. It's beautiful. |

w00t I like this song, somehow. As far as my knowledge goes, I'm not very good at German, I think it's about an end of a chapter in world history, and today's youth standing up against everything. It reminds me of something apocalyptic, but I doubt Tokio Hotel would make a song about that. |

I always thought this song was about having nightmares, because he is cheating with random people... That might be a too literal translaton, though. I first heard this song on the radio, two years ago in arts class. Those were four orgasmic minutes, I heard something I had never encountered before and for the whole day, I tried to remember the name of the song, so I could download it as soon as I got home. Since then I have been listening to him. |

I agree with you all, this is such a beautiful song and I don't know any person who listens to this too. About the lyrics, I'm not a member of his site, but I can see where you're coming from, dukespecial. I think this song is also about not being able to hide whatever he did, although he regrets it and wants to forget him. The tune of this song feels kind of desperate, especially in the chorus. No-one listens to his side of the story and it hurts him. This fits well with the idea of being unfaithful. |

Somehow, this song is very mesmerising and helps me to calm down. I think this song is about celebrating the beautiful moments in life. Miserable things happen, but there are also happy moments that the narrator wants to keep alive. The videotape hereby be a reference to a way of keeping these moments alive. Even when he dies himself, the videotape still exists and the memories aren't fully destroyed. He is doing this, making this tape, because he knows he will die soon, perhaps he plans to commit suicide. |
