Batousi is totally right about the song the only part i have to add is that hes isnt an asshole hes just a little confused..the the first time i heard this song i was wordless except for "wow" and my buddy didnt say anything but "yeah" you could say aes is an asshole for saying all this shit in this song but he says hes just a little confused CON FUSED, he gets the truth and the truth is an asshole his brain is twisted and fused together and he gets it. you can hear this the first time he says confused by how he says it. i also have to throw in how he is subliminally advertising lucy or also known as lsd "im jsut a another cynic brick in hells basements(a lot of people say lucy is from hell and is lucifers woman "just a lit fuse in the back of the pews watching a thousand flavors from the same god feud" but when he says fued it also sounds like food and rappers dont do that shit by accident |

| first of all you cant just read these lyrics and try and understand it you gotta listen to the song its rap of course he's gonna wordplay like when he says "aint no motor like a martyr made motor" martyr is modern also, same with when he says he weilded the rose, it wilted the second he introduced himself as nervous. Basically ace says listen to MY horn blow. at first he says the man sits upon a crate tell him aes sent you to hear his horn blow like this, then at the end of the song he says hes gonan save his nickels up to buy that man a brand new horn and sit upon HIS crate as i witness beauty born like this. Thiers so many metaphors to explain in this song its one big metaphorical highway and im not gonna try and type it all up cause i dont know what he means by all them just most of them all i got to say is he's trying his hardest to be a master of his art "i wanna be something spectacular on the day the sun runs outa batteries, attach my fashion to the casulties of anarchy" he's saying when the sun dies hes still gonna be making masterpieces from the anarchy all around because we evolve were "wet footed mammals, channel surfing our way to the top" this is just how i see this song and most of this whole album "labor days" he is shooting to sell to laborers and to people who he his music as sick both at the same time, because just listen to his song 9-5ers anthem, he doesnt say he aggrees or feels like them he just basically says he aint working a 9-5 and its cause hes sellign albums to those who are.
