you were close. she actually wrote this about a boy, Joey, that she had fallen in love with in High School. He died in a car crash. He had been drunk. They had been pretty close and still in love when he died, she just wanted to know if she hdn't of had loved him if his passing away would still have hurt her so much. She still to this day thinks about him often. |
