everyone's talking about wanting to hear conor play this live/having seen him play it live. the following link goes to a video from the same tour to which you're all referring. i was at the show that this video is from. it was the first time i'd heard spring cleaning, and i was literally crying in my seat. conor's voice seems to change the tone of the song entirely, though jake does a wonderful job as well. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Agm4ginwtSU |

I just recently bought this album, and I have to say it was automatically one of my favorites if not my absolute favorite. From the opening and on i literally had butterflies. I couldn't stop smiling - until this song hit. I CRIED, and only one song has made me cry before - and that was when Conor performed Spring Cleaning when I saw Bright Eyes last fall. As many others here have said: And I ran off, and ran on to something That I swore was everything but beautiful I only say that word for you ooh boy, I almost couldn't contain the emotion that ran through me with his voice. |
