| Common – Retrospect For Life Lyrics | 17 years ago |
| I do love this because he isn't preaching. It isn't "Pro-Choice" or "Pro-Life." It sure as hell helped me through some hard times. In response to Spanky03 though...the second verse isn't about NOT having the fore-mentioned abortion because he says clearly, "Though his death was at our greed..." so they obviously went through with it. | |
| Nick Cannon – Can I Live Lyrics | 17 years ago |

He's telling HIS version of the truth rapchickslide. So get that through your thick skull. Mistymisty, it is the woman who is pregnants' choice, not yours hunny. Don't ever forget that. If you feel the need to say "NOBODY SHOULD (have an abortion)". Then I would really like to see you walk up to a woman going into an Abortion Clinic and say that...then see you get punched in the face for scrutinizing her decison. Menstruation, THANK YOU. As for these lyrics, I won't say they aren't well written, because I think they are. HOWEVER I think that this is a sad attempt at him showing his views on supporting "Pro-Life" whether it has to do with his mother or not...I don't care. |

| Flipsyde – Happy Birthday Lyrics | 17 years ago |

Directly to studmuffin33 and han_3590, you both need to open up your eyes. Posting your beliefs on a website won't change a goddamn thing. I'd like to see you actually stand up and do something if you feel so strongly. You both sicken me and I would love to walk up to either one of you one day and told you I had an abortion 2 years ago and see what you said to my face...because it's true. NOW as for these lyrics, very well put together and thought out. I loved it from the second I heard it. I think the mixture of Flipsyde's rapping and the girl's voice on the chorus go hand in hand. A strange mix, but a good one. The line that really effected me was: "I got a million excuses, as to why you died. And other people got their own reasons for homicide. Who's to say it would've worked and who's to say it wouldn't have." I feel like he knows that he and the woman had to make a choice, yet no one can ever really say that it would have worked if they hadn't had the abortion...so he really can't hate himself for it. |

I agree with one above said comment. Purely some phone sex. Hell he could have even been calling a "sex line". Maybe he doesn't even know the girl. |

| Say Anything – Yellow Cat (Slash) Red Cat Lyrics | 17 years ago |

I don't see the "race" card being played here at all. For me red and yellow are just two people who are complete opposites. I do agree that he's speaking of how futile there fighting is, though. My favorite line has to be: "All that he wants is to see someone he respects, without their clothes." Ahh classic. |

| Say Anything – You Help Them Lyrics | 17 years ago |
| I definitely believe this is about a girl from his past that wronged him. I think "I'll be there" is saying he will always haunt her. Maybe he's hoping she will always have to live with what she did to him. | |
| Say Anything – You're the Wanker, If Anyone Is (feat. Jordan Pundik, Chad Gilbert & Aaron Gillespie) Lyrics | 17 years ago |

ANYWAY, back to the song. I think the line "Go grow some balls!" really sums it all up for me. I love it =) |
