Thats just it I read articles about mcs where justin pierre said that he never wanted to write a song about a girl again after he wrote My Favorite Accident. But a lot of these songs off of this album seem to be about girls. Humor me and just give it a shot. Could this be a song about drugs? If any of you have ever had any sort of addiction there are lines in this song that relate. In a sense getting over an addiction and love can be alike. I know its a long shot- but it might just be another way to look at it. though overall I still think its about love. but maybe.. just maybe |

I LOVE this song. But I thought that Pierre said that he would never write a song about a girl again - after he wrote My Favorite Accident And it is Amen. Think about what he says right before it. And I still don't know exactly who I am, I never will... The fact that he says Amen makes that line so much more powerful. He's basically saying thank god I will never know who I am.. which goes right along with the depth of the whole song. |
