| i agree with the wife thing the jail is tight stretch. BUT i do think the ball and chain reffers to the wife because marriage is binding. so it is sort of sarcastic in a way to say "you lost a ball and chain" because it is attatched to you. I think it was a good way to put his ex because this whole song has a sarcastic tone. | |

Well i do like the interpetation of the whole whore thing but i think that it is more about how kids can be cruel when the're younger. here is why i think so: Holding back, everyday the same Don’t wanna be a loner Listen to me, oh no I never say anything at all But with nothing to consider they forget my name ame .. ame .. ame i think this has to do with childhood because when i was in elementary school i wanted to be with the cool kids so i just kept my mouth shut so they wouldn't think i was wierd. Even though she keeps herself togethr and doesn't say anything dumb, they still don't like her enough to remember her. next... I miss the catch if they through me the ball I’m the last kid standing up against the wall Keep up, falling, these heels they keep me boring Getting glammed up and sitting on the fence now I think this refers to when in elementary school you pick teams for ball, you line up and the kids all pick the teams. She says she is clumsy when playing these games, therefore the captians are the last to pick her. Next part of this paragraph is that all the "popular" girls wear heels to be cool so she trys to be like them and glam up with heels and accesories and ends up falling all over the place so the girls think shes boring. She ends up sitting on the fence by herself. next... So alone all the time at night Lock myself away Listen to me, I’m not Although I’m dressed up, out and all with Everything considered they forget my name ame .. ame .. ame This may refer to how the other girls all have cool sleepover parties and they leave her out and she has to be alone at night. i think this is a fair interpertation of the mid section please compare yours to mine. *oh and great song by the way* |
