Paramore – Born for This Lyrics 17 years ago
This song is definately about the band and how they're trying to make it in the music world. The line "It takes aquired minds..."means that not everybody is going to like them, and they know it. The line "You can't down it with your eyes" means that you can't just look at them and tell what they are what they're about, you have to really listen to them. "So we don't need the headlines, we don't need your headlines no." Means that they don't need a lot of press or flash to get attention, their music and themselves is enough.
I absolutely ADORE this song. Its so powerful and inspiring. They should have released this as a single with a video rather than That's What You Get, although that song is also amazing. I LOVE Paramore!!

Fall Out Boy – I Don't Care Lyrics 17 years ago
The more music Fall Out Boy makes, the more I love them. This is a love of a different style though, so its going to be different for everyone. I didn't really like FOB's music until I would say... Under The Cork Tree. After that album, I really started to like them. Infinity on High was amazing, and I absolutly love, "I Don't Care" so, I cannot wait for the album to be released. As to the meaning of the song, I'm pretty sure its about a cheating girlfriend who wants to get back together with the writer. She tries using lust to seduce him to win him back and he's mocking her, because in fact its her that needs him, not the other way around. And for the pain she caused him, he likes seeing her frusterated and miserable "I don't care what you think, as long as its about me." An amazing compilation of wit and sarcasm and sexy humor. Love it!

Tokio Hotel – Break Away Lyrics 17 years ago
This could be seen two ways. A breakup that went all wrong, or a friendship that ended badly. I personally use it on the friendship end, because its happening to me right now. Either way, the song is about a relationship that the writer is trying to end, but the second person doesn't want it to at all. They cling on, but it only drives the writer farther and father away.

Tokio Hotel – Don't Jump Lyrics 17 years ago
Its pretty clear the song is about suicide, and the singer begging the listener not to jump. This song hit so close to home for me. The dearest person to me in the world has been in a suicidal state for a long time now. I've pulled him back from it, but like the song says "I don't know how long...how long I can hold you so strong." The line "then I'll jump for you" used to confuse me, but not anymore. What the singer is trying to say is that if the listener jumps, he'll follow him, because life isn't worth living without them in his life. At least, that's what it means for me. The line "don't let memories go of me and you" tells me this is someone very near and dear to the writer's heart. If Bill Kaulitz wrote this song, I wonder if it was possibily about his twin brother Tom. Just speculation only.

Tokio Hotel – Fïnal Day Lyrics 17 years ago
As it mentions two people throughout the song, I believe its about someone in a relationship that's falling apart. The writer wants to deny it with all his might, believing if he does, he can salvage it, but he knows inwardly that it can't be saved. Its not clear about the second person's oppinion in the song, but the line "the whole world can just go to hell" makes it clear to me that the writer doesn't care what he/she thinks. All he knows is his world is falling apart, and he wants to deny it.

Tokio Hotel – On The Edge Lyrics 17 years ago
This is the flipside to 'Don't Jump' by the same band. This is what happens when no one is there to stop someone from giving up. The song, I think, is about a girl who was raped/molested ("Someone's hand is touching her, she has no will") and she spirals deep into depression. I think the "moment that feels better" is either cutting or the use of an IV drug, heroin, something along that line. ("her arms are so sore") Either way, the girl in the story I think eventually commits suicide ("falling from the edge.") The progression of the chorus shows her worsening condition. The song is so beautiful, and so real.
