I love 'baby don't talk to me, I'm trying to let go, not loving you is harder than you know' because once you are broken up with your significant other and they want to be "friends" they just don't understand how hard it is to hear their voice and at times misinterpret what they say, to what you want to hear. At times it's just better to not talk to that person until you're COMPLETELY over them because you don't to be led on, or the other way around.

I love this song, it's actually brought me to tears once or twice. Thom's voice is so hypnotizing and relaxing even on the part 'She's running out the door,She's running out ,She's run, run, run, running out'. He's admiring from afar, yet becoming angry, and not just at himself for not being so "special" but also to the person who is making him feel this way, for being better than him,or at least making him feel that way. This song just proves that Radiohead is one of the best bands in the world!

I love the way Julian sings 'How long must I wait?', there is so much emotion is his voice, it's truly incredible. It just proves how impatient he has become with all the waiting around, it's an emotion I think many can relate to, and because it sounds so real (the emotion in his voice), the song is popular.

The Strokes – Is This It Lyrics

The frustration of being somewhere that you don't want to be at, should be boredom and The Strokes reached that to a relatable level. When I first heard this song, as much as I liked it, I expected the frustration and boredom to turn into anger, like in 'Take it or leave it'.I think it would of taken the song to a whole new level, but i can see why others like it's "mellow" feel. But in over all this has to be my favorite song off the first album.

The Killers – Romeo and Juliet (Dire Straits cover) Lyrics	17 years ago
I love how this song can pretty much summarize 'Romeo and Juliet' in a modern twist, it's not "accurate", but it still has the same level of romance in it. The verse "When you gonna realize it was just that the time was wrong?", explains what happened with the two lovers, the time was wrong, and it could of worked out if they were more patient. But then again, love isn't patient.

I don't think this song is "repetitive" in a bad way, i think the only reason why Kele might be repeating himself is to show that the person who is being cheated on, is trying to reassure himself that he should do the same as in cheat on their spouse.
