Love this song, so much! It sounds like a goodbye song to me, though. And it makes me kinda sad. Especially when they sing the old lines. It kinda reminds me of missing the past. Still a good song, though. I like what FOB's doing with Folie A Deux. I don't really know how to interpret it, though. It just seems like a fun song they did. |

I see Arizona stars from here, But Peter Pan is miles away. Wow, that's just... amazing. Andrew's brilliant. I love Peter Pan, it's cool he mentioned it. This song, I could listen to it on repeat forever. |

The way I interpret this part of the song... "I know it's sad, but I never gave a damn about the weather And it never gave a damn about me" To me, I think 'the weather' is like an independent person, who only lives to please themselves. Something or someone you can't control. And the speaker seems to have stopped caring about the person who does whatever they want regardless of whom it may affect. Like the weather does. And obviously, that person doesn't care about anyone else or have feelings for anyone else... because if they did, for the most part they would think their actions through and consider who it would affect before following through with it. |

This song is just lyrically amazing :) Violent, sure. But oh wellll. It almost seems like a friend screwed him over or something. Because for the most part, only people who you truly cared about can bring out really deep emotions in you. Which is expressed greatly throughout the song. I loveee Hit The Lights. End of story :D |

Last post, I promise. Haha In addition to my second post, I'd like to add that the "He'll scrub for an hour or more but he won't get it all the paint in his fingernail beds" That sounds like the person tried to erase the momory of that they tried to accomplish, or get across to people. Because it mentions a particularly long time frame, just to get paint off of someone's hands and nails. Almost like he was embarrassed he never got anywhere with what he thought was good, which is why he spent so much time on it. Or I could be wrong. Ah well. |

Oh, and I forgot to add this... Sits in his basement from midnight 'til four Painting pictures that nobody sees from his days in the war The canvas is painted bright red, red He heats up the shower, he paces the hall He'll scrub for an hour or more but he won't get it all The paint in his fingernail beds That sorta reminds me of like, people who spend so much time and effort on something, and go nowhere with it. Or maybe it's like some truly brilliant and talented people who really devote themselves to what they do have a lot of potential, but no one takes the time to really pay attention. It's kinda hard to put into words what I thought when I heard that verse, so excuse me if that was vague or not well put together. |

I really love Andrew for this song. He's an amazing lyricist. I agree with the marijuana influences that others have mentioned. Like, if something gets difficult, most people want to just take the easy way out. This also sort of makes me think of his struggle with cancer. He might not have gotten much sleep when he was in treatment for it, hence the "I'm so tired" and "bloodshot eyes" part. Overall, this song's just amazing. I love it, and TGP. |

Absolutely in love with this song. It's so pretty, and really deep too. Hey moon, please forget to fall down, Hey moon, don't you go down. You are at the top of my lungs, Drawn to the ones who never yawn. I think it's mostly about a peter pan-ish theory. Like, you don't want the moon to go down, AKA you don't want to grow up. Maybe Ryan had a really good night, and wanted to re-live it forever. Who knows. Ryan's just an amazing lyricist. Truly brilliant. Brendon does great singing it, too. It's awesome that they both sing on this track. |

I love this song. I heard about it around a week ago and I've been listening to it non-stop ever since. Patrick's voice sounds really good in this. And the beat is sorta different, not like most FOB songs. Well, it doesn't sound like most to me. I really love the "say my name and his in the same breath I dare you to say they taste the same." Overall, I'm excited for the new album. I really like their old stuff, but it's the same with PATD. Their first album is a complete 360 from their second. They're both really good. I'm still in love with FOB. :) |
