I completely agree with you. Except for the "I have a reservation / what do you mean it's not in the computer" part... I think it's more like 'shocked' or appalled someone is when they're not accept to Heaven... If that makes sense? Everyone feels they have a reservation to Heaven, no matter what cruel acts they've done and by a simple act of contrition they can waltz right in in the afterlife. But they're reservation gets lost... Very spiritual song. |

I agree, it's definitely about a break-up. Maybe not explicitly cheating, but the guy wants something else or he needs to go, but either way his excuse for breaking up with her is not very good. She's obviously very upset and is pleading him "why" etc etc., wanting to stay together and wants to the know the reason why he is doing it but he knows it's for something petty but he wants out. He just wants her to punch him and tell him to fuck off so he doesn't have to explain himself. He feels like a total asshole about it, and honestly her telling him to "fuck off" is probably the nicest she could do it because he's such a dick lol. I think the first two verses paint a picture of him breaking him up with her in his car and then leaving thinking it's all for the better ("forcing a smiling and waving goodbye"). |

I love this song, it's so creepy. I listened to it no repeat while reading the original Dracula, so the song always reminds me of some kinda evil, or unknown darkness. o_ o I didn't even think this song had real lyrics, seems mostly nonsensical to me (I know the words are from a different source now lol)... I thought I heard her saying 'speeding from the infinite loop' lol, anyone else hear that? Or am I crazy? |

Lady Gaga has stated this song is about being bisexual, or 'bluffing' your sexuality. Something to that affect... But we are allowed to interpret the song whoever we please (I don't like that meaning anyways lol). I believe this is about a woman who plays men and is flirtatious and makes them fall in love with her, but she's afraid of loving them back. 'She's got me like nobody' is them saying how they are so in love but she doesn't return this real love. 'Poker Face' means that they can't see through her. :) |

Everyone's got it right, I believe. Annie is having a conversation with her friend, and Annie is telling her how boys are just material to her - Just chewing gum. When she gets bored (no more flavor) she just spits it out (gets rid of him) and picks another from the pack. Cause Annie is hot and has a whole line-up of guys haha. She's only in this relationship for material / sexual means, easily dispensable men. Of course the guys think they are chocolate, delicious and savor-y. But nope! They got it wrong. Really smart song lol, I like when songs meanings are not outright it takes a listen. And when artists use metaphors like chewing gum. :D |

Love this entire album (Except Again Again), this song included! :) But a few corrections... All the times you say 'hard' it definitely sounds more like 'hot' and saying especially the line 'A hard pair we will be' doesn't make much sense. 'A hot pair we will be' sounds better. Lastly, it's LOVE glue gunnin', not low glue gunnin'. I will get my lyric booklet once I get my CD case back from my car and double check everything. Cheers! |

Firstly, the lyrics are: take a needle, stitch my mouth shut Makes a lot more sense. :P I like the song, and to me, her voice doesn't sound over-produced. One Word sounds much more 'over-produced'. |
