havent read all of the comments on this song find it kinda funny that for nearly every song on the Demon Days soundtrack, someone comments that its about sex. Although i'm not one to judge, could be, I didn't make the song. However, i think that this song is about our religous ways, and how we've come to a point in our lives where we feel all alone, because everything around us is doubting that God exists. Base this primarily on when he raps "We turn up the 'oh god'" The rest of the song could be open to interpretation about the laws and guidelines of religion and how the facts of it seem to be proven false, or to only be taken metaphorically, even though when brought up, we were told to take it literally. |

people are looking into this song for too many specifics. the song is about is about someone using drugs, can be pot, coke, shrooms, anything aka "sunshine in a bag". plus you can hear him snort a line near "Lifeless, to those the definition for what life is". "My future is coming on" i think is referring to the situation kids find themselves in when they become disgruntled teenagers. Can't control anything now, i wait it out til my future comes, by gettin blitzed, no problem with that. And when Del raps, i think its the drug that frees the inner child or inner persona within them, and tells them how life is. |
