This isn't necessarily right, but when I was doing a lot of ecstasy I used to think this song was about taking X and the rave scene. With its overall theme of brotherhood and caring, and especially the "What I've got you gotta get it put it in you... Do a little dance and then drink a little water" And a lot of other lines I don't care to elaborate on. |

do you HONESTLY think that Dexter wrote this and didn't INTEND for it to be confusing whether it's about suicide, which is an overall negative outlook on life, or comparing the life to a fall with a beautiful view? He KNEW that it was hard, probably wrote it with JUST that in mind. ^_^ Rather than debating a song like this, you should take what you want from it, and just share that with the world. Some people are getting way too offended and defensive! O.O |

It's the fact that he's in love with a girl, but he knows that the feeling has to be requited for it to TRULY mean he's in love. He knows if he says he's in love TOO early that it could scare her off, and she may never come back. But he also knows that if he says that he's in love that she might understand his feelings a lot better, and she may feel exactly the same to him. Very relevant to me on certain occasions.
