I think basically he's saying that everything is fucked up. No one gives a fuck about it (waitress part). And although he realizes this crap, music makes it worth it for him, or at least music help him cope. |

I think it is pretty vague... I think it has to do with addictions or greed. Addictions because he says shit about getting high, flying over rainbows. Greed because he is making alusions to gold and well being. Hell it could be both ways now that I think about it. But then he warns us about it, talking about Bobby... I dunno... I've never really seem to understand quite well Blood Brothers lyrics anyway |
