This song is so beautiful. It reminds me of my ex-boyfriend, at a time when we both genuinely cared for one another. We spent many a winter night in either of our basements just talking, listening to music, and taking each other in. And also of the winter break I spent with him where I saw him every day, and during that time we managed to get really close - moreso than I had with anyone else. It just brings back memories and feelings I am quite sure I won't soon forget. It's a little sad for me, but beautiful nonetheless. That's my two cents. I feel like, "And I need to take it all...in for a little while..." really describes how I felt last winter. So good. |

this song is amazing. i'm pretty sure anyone can relate to feeling this way about someone at some point in their life, and when you realize that that relationship has ended you sit and think of all of the things you two used to share together. the imagery is great, it's just so real. and i agree with remembermaine, "put your hands on my back, kiss the back of my neck..." is the best lyric in this song, the way mike sings it... |

my best friend and i, a few summers ago, used to mix pills... and we would always go swimming afterwards and listen to this album. this song brings back all those memories, and the kind after you get 'high' off of sleeping pills, the kind where someone says, "remember when you did that?!" and you can't remember for anything. ... the memories this song induces are great, though. |

personally. i think minus the bear's lyrics are wonderful. and you know what, i don't like many bands lyrics too much. i don't think many bands out there today write lyrics about ANYTHING but stupid bullshit that means nothing. so i'm all for minus' simple, and clever lyrics. it's all about the imagery for me, and minus the bear paint the most beatiful imagery. fucking mainstream shit today has nothing on bands like minus. FUCK all time low and those bullshit bands. i like TALENT, which this band, undoubtedly has. be it lyric writing, or instrumentally. (: (that's just my opinion, think what youall want.) |
